2011

Trine 2

Trine 2 launched on December 7, 2011 for PC. It built on everything the original established — new hand-painted environments, more elaborate physics puzzles, and full online co-op for up to three players from day one. At release it was widely regarded as one of the most visually stunning games ever made.

2012

Trine 2: Goblin Menace

Released on September 7, 2012, Goblin Menace was a substantial expansion adding six new story levels that continued the adventure through goblin-ruled lands. It also introduced new skills for all three heroes available across the whole game, meaningfully extending both the story and the mechanical toolkit for returning players.

Trine 2: Director's Cut

Launching alongside the Wii U in North America, Trine 2: Director's Cut combined the main game and Goblin Menace with an exclusive new chapter — Dwarven Caverns — and added GamePad-specific controls tailored for the Wii U hardware. It was the first version of the game to bundle all existing content in one package.
